My family has already watched it three times, and we’ve all dived into the special features of the release, including a spectacular version of ‘Into the Unknown’ in 29 languages. But our favorite look behind the scenes so far is the featurette ‘The Spirits of Frozen 2‘ which gives you a look at not just how the creators conceived of the story, but also the real myths and folklore behind some of the characters....

This actually felt like something of a climax to the ongoing plot, although there’s clearly a lot more to come. Putting Luke, Misty and Mariah on the same side of a developing situation made for some interesting chemistry, and pretty much everyone got their moment....

The likes of Ouya and GameStick look set to face stiff competition in the Android micro-console market from Mad Catz’s Project M.O.J.O., GamesIndustry reports. News of the new console emerged from the gaming accessory maker’s financial results. Mad Catz called M.O.J.O. A “keystone product” in its GameSmart line of mobile gaming accessories which will also include controllers, mice, keyboards and headsets – all compatible with M.O.J.O. “With our long history in the gaming industry, Mad Catz has the technical capability, product breadth, global distribution, and developer and publisher relationships that uniquely position our company to embark on this ambitious initiative,” company president and CEO Darren Richardson said in a statement....

Madden NFL 15 is now available to download for free on EA Access. The download offers those subscribed to the Xbox One service unrestricted access to the full game for the duration of their subscription. NFL 15 follows just days after NBA 15 was added to the service, bringing the total number of free games to 9. Battlefield 4, Need For Speed Rivals, Peggle 2, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and EA Sports UFC are also available to download at no additional cost....

It’s a good time to be a Dragon Ball Z fan. Not only is there the upcoming action RPG, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, to look forward to, but the 2.5D fighting entry, Dragon Ball FighterZ, is still getting a lot of eyes on it. It is also reportedly adding Dragon Ball Super’s Broly at some point in the near future, but even though these games seem to be getting the most attention, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 isn’t going to be forgotten, especially after the most recent addition to the roster....

Fans of Marvel’s Midnight Suns on PC are recommending users bypass of the game’s 2K Launcher to improve the game’s performance. A long reddit thread of experiences from players writing on r/Games lists numerous experiences of frame-rate issues and long load times even on high-end PC setups - only to see them improved without the 2K Launcher active. Bypassing the launcher is not as simple as hitting uninstall - 2K clearly wants you to run its software as part of the game’s startup....

The latest and last of the Vault Hunters, Fl4k the Beastmaster, received their character trailer for Gearbox Software and 2K Games’ upcoming Borderlands 3. In the video, Fl4k talks us through ‘The Hunt’, and swaggers up to Ellie’s Scrap which has been overrun by Psychos. They descend upon the robot, who picks them off cleanly with their sniper rifle, but it’s clear that they’re outgunned. But not outmanned. Fl4k calls upon their beasts, a Spiderant, a Skag and a Jabber....

More Mega Man games are coming to PC in 2023. Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is on its way, and it contains 10 different titles from the series. This was announced during Nintendo’s Direct Mini Partner Showcase along with a trailer that showed off some gameplay from the upcoming collection. The Mega Man Battle Network games are perhaps some of the more interesting spin-offs from the series. As opposed to being your usual action platformer, these games do something different....

Microsoft has agreed a 10-year deal to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo if its buyout of Activision Blizzard goes through. Xbox boss Phil Spencer tweeted the announcement, which also confirms the company’s commitment to continue to release Call of Duty games on Valve’s Steam platform “simultaneously to Xbox”, if the gargantuan $69 billion offer to buy Activision Blizzard is approved. Call of Duty’s latest releases, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2....

Third-party developers have showcased new assets of upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with WelshSimulations, which released new renders of the flight deck of its freeware Airbus A340. Specifically, we take a look at part of the pedestal including the MCDU and the radios, on top of the fuselage that received windows. A brief video shows work done on the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) tablet. You can follow both aircraft’s progress on the developer’s Discord server....

Microsoft Flight Simulator developers keep releasing new assets and add-ons for the popular sim, and today is no exception. We start with CJ Simulations which released new screenshots of the Eurofighter Typhoon via the product page on Just Flight’s store. It looks like Microsoft Game Studios is trying to spread some holiday cheer by spreading around some Microsoft Points. All Xbox Live users have to do is download the Microsoft Game Studios Offer gamerpic and spend 1600 MS Points on certain games and add-ons from now until Novemeber 22, and they’ll be rewarded with 400 MS space-bucks (or $5) to spend however they want. This may be the shortest holiday offer of the season, given that it ends in just four days....

Today Avex released a new trailer for the previously-announced MF Ghost anime series. Since MF Ghost is a direct sequel to the ultra-popular racing manga and anime Initial D, no one will be surprised about the reveal included in this trailer, which is the fact that the soundtrack will feature Eurobeat songs. We also get a glimpse of the protagonist, another look at sweet anime car porn, and the confirmation that the series will air in 2023....

Intel’s upcoming Arc Alchemist graphics cards are seemingly on par with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. This is interesting news in itself since Nvidia’s high-end graphics card certainly packs a punch. The information comes from the Twitter account @TUM_APISAK, which linked this SiSoftware page where the benchmarks for the Intel Arc Alchemist card have allegedly been revealed. The card seemingly boasts some powerful specs. But, as always with news like this, take it with a healthy dose of salt....

The developer behind the Hitman franchise has announced it has opened up a new studio, IO Malmo, in Sweden. The company announced that the move will ‘strengthen IO Interactive’s commitment to deliver exceptional content to the Hitman franchise, community and all our fans.’ ‘We are super excited and proud to announce IOI Malmö.
