Konami has announced a new expansion pack for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s multiplayer mode Metal Gear Online. Due to arrive on all platforms in March, the ‘Cloaked in Silence’ pack will introduce three new multiplayer maps, including Coral Complex, Rust Palace and Azure Mountain, and playable character Quiet, who is able to “temporarily cloak her visibility while sprinting to activate a boost in movement speed”. Coral Complex: A dedicated Motherbase environment, allowing players to access tall towers and use storage containers and other internal areas as cover for tactical advantage....

Nvidia has posted a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain running at 60 frames per second and in 4K resolution. Naturally, anybody looking to run the game at this resolution and frame rate will need a beastly PC, and a pretty expensive monitor to support the output. The clip includes a cutscene including Big Boss, Ocelot, Kaz and Quiet, each in a very intense moment on Mother Base....

Michael Bay will be back to direct the fifth entry in the live-action Transformers movie franchise, the director confirmed to Rolling Stone during promotion for his new movie 13 Hours. Only Mark Wahlberg from the Age of Extinction cast is currently expected to return for the fifth pic. Despite losing series star Shia Labeouf, Age of Extinction made over $1 billion worldwide. Bay insists, the fifth movie will be be his last in the franchise....

Today, third-party developers had relevant news and a release to share for Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons including aircraft and scenery. We start with an announcement from Aerosoft and its partner developer FlightSim Studio (which worked on the SeaRey Elite), which announced the Embraer E-Jets series, promising one of the most popular regional airliner series in the world. We get a rather charming trailer, but no real information on the features this aircraft will have, albeit another video about the flight deck and systems has been promised....

Around 700 creators have signed up to become part of a massive Bundle for Ukraine on indie game storefront itch.io. The bundle includes almost 1000 games, tabletop RPGs, books and other items from the collective worth around $6500 USD. For a minimum of $10 donation, players can get their hands on the entire bundle, which includes indie hits like Celeste, SUPERHOT, Baba is You, SkateBIRD and many more. Proceeds raised will go to two charities supporting Ukraine in light of the country’s ongoing invasion by Russia....

Iron Man VR was originally announced for the PlayStation VR back in May, and was slated to release sometime in 2019. Now, with a new trailer, the official release date has been revealed and it shows that the game has been slightly delayed. Ubisoft has teased the first look at a new DLC Operator heading to Rainbow Six Siege later this year. Due for release this autumn, the new character will be part of the Japanese Special Assault Force (SAT), and appears to come equipped with a new assault rifle. The tease follows shortly after the release of Operation Black Ice, a major update for Rainbow Six Siege that introduces a brand new map and two new Operators....

Judgment has received a new trailer offering the first look at its revised character model for Kyohei Hamura. In case you missed it, the original actor for the character, Pierre Taki, was arrested over drug use in Tokyo last month. Taki has now been completely removed from Judgement, and has been replaced by a new model, although it isn’t a scan of an actor; his movements and lip-synching remain identical. Despite the fact Judgment was removed from Japanese stores after the arrest took place, the game is still on track for a US and UK launch this June....
