Microsoft has commented on the ongoing issues affecting Halo Infinite after its arrival late last year - after which, it says, the game “fell short” by not being able to satisfy players. Speaking to the Friends Per Second Podcast, Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty praised the team which launched Halo Infinite after working through the pandemic to get the game done - but also admitted Microsoft had fallen short with its support for the game after its arrival....

Microsoft adds more talent to its secret development studio, The Initiative. The developer has been on a hiring spree for some time, having hired several developers who’d worked on Red Dead Redemption, God of War, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Updates to professional profiles on LinkedIn have revealed that Microsoft’s video game supergroup has added four more developers to the team. Indivisible is finally out. After 4 years and a ton of updates (kudos to Lab Zero for keeping their backers informed), the fighting game-inspired platforming RPG is out and available on most platforms! The story follows Ajna and her collection of people she stores in her mind, which we can obviously all relate to. Right? No? Well anyway, these “Incarnations” as they’re called are what the combat is all about. The player is meant to use four characters at once, each assigned to a face button in order to combo opponents and introduce people to some of the best aspects of fighting games....
It’s hard to discern what made Sucker Punch’s InFamous such a desirable title: its unwilling anti-hero Cole McGrath, the way the Ray Sphere enticed the imagination, or countless hours of additional side quests and collectibles. Innersloth has revealed the roadmap for Among Us in 2022, with friend lists as the next major addition. My favorite part of Inscryption was the first part — a roguelike card game where you battle waves and waves of other cards from creepy opponents. It’s an aspect of the game that I wished was the prime focus instead of the story-driven angle that it eventually took. The developers must have heard the call of my desires, and I suppose the calls of many others, as the new official Inscryption mod, Kaycee’s Mod, is now available for free....
During the first act of Inscryption, you were trying to get overkill wins to earn Teeth. In the second act, you’re still going for overkills, but you’re earning a currency called Foil instead. This is actually quite useful since it allows you to purchase cards, including the ones that are required for the Mycologist Key and Bone Lord Key. Still, there’s a way to get a ridiculous amount. Tawainese developer Red Candle Games has released a statement to Twitter on the status of cult horror game Devotion, which was removed from Steam back in February barely a week after release. Previously, it was thought that the title was banned due to references to a Winnie The Pooh meme in one of the game’s textures (refences to the character are currently banned in China) but these reports were, at the time, denied by Red Candle Games when it said it was removing the game from sale for ‘another complete QA check’....
