Magic: ManaStrike has been summoned and can now be downloaded to your mobile device. Magic is invading the digital world. No, this isn’t the plot to the latest Magic: The Gathering video game–I mean literally invading. There are so many Magic-based games coming that it can be hard to keep track. And now we have Magic: ManaStrike arriving on the Apple App Store and Google Play. From Korean developer Netmarble, ManaStrike takes Magic’s card-based gameplay and turns it into a PvP strategy tower game along the same lines as Clash of Clans....

Disney+ may have endured COVID-caused delays for developing Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff series like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Hawkeye, but the streamer’s supplementary Marvel content is well on its way, as evidenced by two sneak peek previews of upcoming docuseries Marvel’s 616, which drops this Fall. Sony has announced that MediEvil’s previously limited-time only ‘Short-Lived’ demo is returning to the PlayStation Store today with new content. The news means anyone who hasn’t had chance yet to try the modern re-imagining of the PS1 classic can do so for the low price of zero. It contains the Graveyard and Hilltop Mausoleum levels, culmulating with a boss fight against the Stained Glass Demon. Complete the demo, and you’ll be rewarded with the Sir Dan’s Helmet item for use in the full game....

Third-party developers have released new work-in-progress screenshots about upcoming aircraft and airport add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with Just Flight, proving a new look at the Fokker F28 Fellowship focusing on Canadian liveries. We hear that the visuals are almost done, but work on coding and systems is “yet to really get underway” so release won’t be soon. Apologies for the temporary use of imgur galleries. Third-party developers shared new screenshots of upcoming aircraft and airport add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with new images of the LearAvia Lear Fan 2100 by Lionheart Creations. According to the developer, the aircraft is being finalized. Moving on to airports, we get to see new screenshots of Tailstrike Designs’ upcoming rendition of Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR) in the Czech Republic. As usual, they were shared on the developer’s official Discord server....

The next Ubisoft game to come to Valve’s marketplace has been revealed. Immortals Fenyx Rising, Ubisoft’s stylish riff on Greek mythology, is set to come to Steam soon. This is a pretty sudden surprise all things considered, especially since some other Ubisoft titles only just came to the storefront. But this is still good news for those who missed out on the game in 2020. For now, there’s no release date, so these players will have to wait a bit....

The Berlin Wall’s magic was supposed to last forever… From Deutschland 86 to Atomic Blonde, the Cold War-era spy genre is enjoying a cultural resurgence, and W.L. Goodwater’s alternate history magical spy novel, Breach, is a delightfully supernatural addition. “We seem to be inching back towards the Cold War,” Goodwater told Den of Geek at San Diego Comic Con. “I don’t know how quickly fiction is following behind that. Certainly, when I started writing this, with my villains being Nazis and Communist Russia, I didn’t realize that it was going to be so modern at the time....

At the end of Indivisible, Ajna and company have to return to Lhan in order to face Kala one last time. But the place above the gate has been totally wrecked and Ajna can’t jump through the crack. So, how do you get through? The game has already explained that you have this move before since you had to use it during a boss battle. But that’s the only other time that using it is mandatory, so it’s understandable that you might have forgotten that it existed....

House of the Dragon, much like Game of Thrones, showcases rich characters in a melting pot of political intrigue and, most importantly, conflict with the human heart. The actions of one particular character can be traced back to an oath or some slight against them. A perfect example is the dynamic between Ser Criston and Alicent. They’re quite chummy with one another, which begs the question: Is Criston in love with Alicent in House of the Dragon?...

In a sea of sequels, generic first person shooters and uninspired attempts at new intellectual properties, it just doesn’t seem like developers are jumping at the opportunity to do something that has never been seen before, going for tried and true conventions instead. Throughout the last few seasons, several “best weapon loadouts” have emerged in Destiny 2 that favor a variety of playstyles. For Season of Dawn, a new fun loadout has emerged that will allow players to deal solid damage, clear enemies, and rarely worry about reloading.
