Back in August, my colleague Jake shared the news that a big new expansion was coming to Elite Dangerous. The Odyssey expansion will see you leaving the confines of your ship and allows you to set foot on alien planets and spaceports. This is a something of a departure for the franchise and has many fans of the franchise, giddy with anticipation. So, to keep fans in the loop, Frontier Developments has been releasing a series of developer diaries for the update....

Earlier today on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel, a brand new trailer was released for the upcoming film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The whole trailer features a haunting version of the Everly Brothers’ song All I Have To Do Is Dream along with tons of mind-bending visuals that you would expect from a Doctor Strange movie. The trailer begins with some shots we have seen before of the Sanctum Sanctorum crumbling into the sky and doors opening to a staircase that seemingly leads into the clouds....

The Harry Potter movies will not be on Warner Bros’ new streaming service HBO Max, thanks to NBC Universal. “The news was confirmed recently during the Television Critics Association winter press tour (as reported by Vanity Fair). Michael Quigley, executive vice president of content acquisitions at WarnerMedia’s TNT, TBS, TruTV, HBO, and HBOMax—ah, megacorporations—flatly acknowledged that Harry and his wizarding friends will not be apparating themselves alongside the Justice League or the Studio Ghibli back catalog....

Bandai Namco has announced that Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition is now available, with a patch adding next-gen upgrades to the horror adventure. Some of the new additions include Ray-Traced reflections, improved volumetric shadows and interactive particles to add more detail to the game. Audio gets a sprucing up too, with Immersive Audio added for those with surround sound speakers or headphones. Next-gen console owners will be able to run the game in one of two modes....

This review contains spoilers. Marcella has always been a bit unhinged. It’s the sort of crime drama that, if you saw it on the street, you’d keep your head down and hope it wasn’t going to come over and talk to you. In that scenario, it’d probably be fully dressed but shoeless, to stop Big Leather from stealing its vibrational pavement energy or what have you. That finale though, was something else....

A fair number of games nowadays want to be a live service. Keep the players coming back with cosmetics and new content from time to time and there’s a lot of money to be made. While I don’t care much for that way of doing things, few licenses are a better fit for it than Marvel. It’s easy to be skeptical of another live service game that’s carefully designed to separate fans from their money, but Marvel’s Avengers is a good game all on its own....

A new Mass Effect 4D holographic experience will open at California’s Great America amusement park in 2016. The dynamic new attraction will feature settings and characters from the EA game series and will open in a newly renovated Action Theater. The attraction is described as follows: “Riders will climb aboard motion-based seating and wear 3D glasses as they are taken on a thrilling adventure. When Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection was announced, I was immediately excited. Not only do I consider that subseries to be one of the finest in the pantheon, but I was intrigued by the promise it held. As the original games were on handhelds, simply slapping some ROMs into a collection and blowing them up wouldn’t look all that great. To me, that meant it was possible that we’d actually get some ports that supplied us with superior versions of the games....
