Following Sony’s announcement that it will be raising the price of PlayStation 5 in select countries, Microsoft has responded to the news, merely noting that existing Xbox Series X/S prices remain the same. Sony announced it would be increasing the cost of PlayStation 5 - in response to “high global inflation rates, as well as adverse currency trends” - earlier today, with the price hike impacting most markets around the world, effective immediately....

Bungie has taken an interesting approach to advertising its hugely anticipated online sci-fi shooter, Destiny 2. What better way to advertise your gun-toting, explosion heavy, inter-planetary epic? Through dance, of course. On Japanese TV, Destiny 2 aims to engage players in it’s shooter by taking a cue from Guardians of the Galaxy and breaking into dance, deviating away from the main crux of the game. To be fair, you can dance in game and this video takes that aspect and runs with it… to the hills and beyond....

After failing to comply with new privacy regulations, Indonesia has banned/blocked multiple digital platforms from the country, including Steam. As reported by Reuters, the list of digital platforms blocked include Epic Games Store, Steam, PayPal, and others. This legislation, introduced in November of 2020, gives authorities the ability to take down content, as well as platforms that do not disclose certain user data to the government. Indonesia bans under scrutiny by the public Social media is rife with many citizens taking to the hashtag #BlokirKominfo (block Kominfo) in protest....

It could be a while before you’ll be able to walk into a store to pick up a second Nintendo Switch Dock, with production of the accessory not going as quickly as Nintendo had hoped. Docks were not made available to buy in Europe, but they did go on sale for $90 in the US. These quickly sold out, with demand being “higher than anticipated”. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has told Time that some stock will appear shortly in the US, though his comments suggest it may be a while before we see Docks available elsewhere in the world....

Ubisoft has donated £60,000 to Alzheimer’s Research UK following a successful social media campaign. Last month, Just Dance players were asked to share their dance moves on social media with the tag #JustDanceMemories. For each mention and share, Ubisoft agreed to donate £1 up to £30,000. The target was met so quickly that only one week after the campaign launched, Ubisoft doubled its donation to £60,000. The funds will benefit the ongoing mission of Alzheimer’s Research UK towards treating dementia, with the current goal of finding a cure by 2025....

Once more, with feeling: we are now officially too old for Lethal Weapon. TV Line reports that Fox has canceled the drama after three seasons. There will be no more Lethal Weapon Season 4.
