Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios announced that Little Nightmares 2 is coming in 2020, during Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live at Gamescom. Dave Mervik, senior narrative desinger at developer Tarsier Studios, chatted to Keighley on stage about the game and revealed that there is a new playable character called Mono — a friend of the original Little Nightmares protagonist Six. Following the announcement of the Lollipop Chainsaw Remake, producer and Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda took to Twitter to explain some relevant points. Yasuda-san explained that the primary goal is to make the game available on modern platforms, not to make a new Lollipop Chainsaw game. In a new Gridiron Notes, Madden NFL 23 discusses changes coming to how Free Agents will work in the Franchise Mode of the upcoming game. The latest Mass Effect: Andromeda update is live, but the patch notes shouldn’t take you too long to read as it just fixes some bugs and improves stability. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is among the games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s Collector’s Edition has sold out in the UK, GAME has confirmed. Microsoft is apparently “90 percent” away from purchasing Obsidian Entertainment, inside sources told Kotaku today. According to one of the sources, the deal is certain. “It’s a matter of when, not if,” they said. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Obsidian have – of course – refused to comment on this report. This is explosive news if proven true. Founded in 2003, Obsidian has since remained an independent studio. The talented team has fostered a loyal following, crafting such hits as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II in 2004 and South Park: The Stick of Truth in 2014....

Today aNCHOR released a new trailer and images of its upcoming Muv-Luv mobile game Immortals: Muv-Luv Alternative. This time around, we get a trailer providing an overview of the game ahead of its release in Japan. We also get to see the character design of two relevant members of the Isumi Valkyries, Misae Munakata and Touko Kazama.
