The most recent game in the tactical strategy series, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, was released last month to favorable review from critics and fans alike. Many have said that the game looks great, and expertly combines turn-based tactics and social elements just as well as previous games. However, even the most seasoned reviewer overlooked the one thing that makes the game entirely unplayable: you can’t even pet the cats. In the long history of gaming, there have been several games that can truly claim to be transformative for the industry. Journey was pretty much universally loved when it was released for the PS3 back in 2012. A lot of questions jumped into my mind when I first heard about Junkyard Simulator. Most simulator games are very focused and specific, but this one seemed broad. After putting several hours into it, I think it may be too broad, although a lot of what it does is undeniably interesting. Kena: Bridge of Spirits will receive an anniversary update today, including a New Game Plus mode among other features. Originally released last year across PlayStation consoles and PC (Epic), the free update adds in a number of new features. Developer Wales Interactive has announced that its 2020 first-person survival horror Maid of Sker is to get an enhanced release on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 as well as several new FPS Challenge Mode for all formats in a free update next week.
