Third-party developers shared quite a few interesting news today about upcoming and released add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with UK2000 Scenery, that despite the name is continuing its string of American Airports. Specifically, they announced Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (KFLG) in Arizona. While it’s not a large airport and mostly focuses on General Aviation, it does host scheduled regional flights operated by American Eagle and United Express, so it’s perfect for the CRJ 700 lovers out there....

As October comes to a close, Microsoft has revealed its next set of games coming to Game Pass for PC. We have a blend of older, remastered LucasArts classics along with some newer games. And a few of those should certainly turn a few heads. Celeste is easily one of those attention seekers, as it exploded into popularity nearly two years ago, sparking new conversations on the impact depression brings. There are a lot of mounts to tame and ride in Immortals Fenyx Rising, and they come in three tiers. Each tier has an additional stamina meter, meaning that higher tier mounts can run for longer. The majority of the mounts you’ll find roam in groups and are either first or second tier. But there’s no reason to spend your time riding one of these, as you can find a tier-three mount with three entire stamina bars in the game’s very first location....

Playtonic Games is mostly made up of developers that used to work at Rare, the studio known for the critically-acclaimed 3D platformer Banjo-Kazooie. It created the Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor Yooka-Laylee, but a new theory making the rounds online claims that the studio may once again have the chance to work on a new Banjo-Kazooie game. Avalanche Studios has taken the wrapper off its latest content update for free-roaming explosive adventure Just Cause 4, adding a bunch of new challenges and rewards to the game and more. First up, a bunch of free challenges have been added for everyone, which will task players with achieving certain goals. Successfully do so, and you’ll unlock exclusive wingsuit and parachute skins. In addition, a new free retro Just Cause 2 skin has been added to the customisation menu which turns the clock back on Rico’s appearance to how he appeared in the second game in the series....

Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind is an expansion for last year’s Kingdom Hearts III, the long-awaited finale to the Xehanort Saga. Re:Mind contains a 4-5 hour campaign that is essentially a repeat of Kingdom Hearts III’s final act with some new cutscenes and additional playable characters. Once completed, a separate mode unlocks called, Limit Cut, which offers 14 of the hardest boss fights in any Kingdom Hearts game. Limit Cut is a dream come true for hardcore players, but for the casual Kingdom Hearts player, Re:Mind doesn’t bring particularly satisfying content, especially for the price....

Konami has published an official apology for the troubled launch of free-to-play soccer offering eFootball 2022. The game officially launched this week in a basic state, including a limited number of teams and modes. However, players quickly found and reported several major issues, including gameplay bugs, graphical glitches and player models that looked very little like their real life counterparts. The situation got so bad that, as reported by Video Games Chronicle, it even became one of the worst rated Steam games in history....

Burnout Paradise’s last-gen servers will be shutting down this August after being open for nearly twelve years. The gaming industry seems to be building towards the release of the PlayStation 5 and the successor to the Xbox One, but there are still some people who own a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 and enjoy the games available on those platforms. Fans of the original version of Burnout Paradise on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 will soon be unable to enjoy the game online, as EA has announced on the official Facebook page for the game that it is shutting down the servers after almost twelve years of operation....

Showing no signs of slowing down, Epic Games has pushed out another update to their popular shooter Fortnite, this time adding Launch Pads to the game’s Battle Royale mode. The 1.9 update is headlined by the addition of Launch Pads which can be found as a deployable trap object in boxes and crates in the world. Once deployed, any player can use it and it soars you high into the air, allowing you deploy your glider to get a literal jump on your opponents from above....

Microsoft has detailed the next round of Xbox homepage “experiments” coming to Insider testing this week, including new layouts, pinned groups, and more. These additions are the latest in what Microsoft previously described as a “multi-month series of experiments to learn how to create a more personalised home screen experience and address some of the top trends and fan requests”. The plan, it explained, is to iterate on these features as testing continues, with the goal being to launch a “new, better Home experience” some time in 2023....

We know Valve is notorious for all the rumors surrounding Half-Life 3. But that’s not their only game with a 3-count never to see the light of day. Over the years, we’ve heard a lot of talk about a third Left 4 Dead game, which was reportedly in development from all the way back in 2011. While no new information is available officially, a new video suggests that Left 4 Dead 3 could be back in development....

Developer Freebird’s follow-up game to 2011’s beautiful To the Moon, Finding Paradise, is out December 14. So, where does To the Moon 2 – or 2 the Moon – come in? Well, it doesn’t, really. To The Moon saw two scientists trying to fulfill the wish of a dying man via artificial memories in an emotional tale that had most shedding a few tears by its conclusion. Freebird Games released what they described as a minisode three years later called A Bird Story with the aim being to bridge the gap between To the Moon and the upcoming Finding Paradise....

Lost Ark is a top-down fantasy massively multiplayer online action role-playing game(MMOARPG) created by Tripod Studios in collaboration with Smilegate RPG. Take-Two has cancelled a $53 million dollar unannounced project that, reportedly, would have been a new game from Hangar 13. The information of the cancellation—but not what it was for—came in the company’s second quarter earnings report for 2022. Tucked within the financial highlights section was the following: “Cost of goods sold included a $53 million impairment charge related to the Company’s decision not to proceed with further development of an unannounced title in its pipeline....

The iconic Marvel character She-Hulk is nearing her screen debut in the new Disney+ series, She Hulk: Attorney at Law. The show stars Tatiana Maslany in the titular role of Jennifer Walters, a Los Angeles-based lawyer, and cousin to Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. Walters finds herself juggling her new life as She-Hulk as well as her career and dating life. The series promises to remain faithful to She Hulk’s depiction throughout Marvel Comics....
