A new update is now available for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered that allows players to unlock certain in-game items by linking their PlayStation Network and Steam accounts together. The Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered update on Steam has added the option for players to link their Steam and PSN accounts. Doing so will unlock access to the Resilient Suit, Concussive Blast Gadget, and two Skill Points. Although, players will not receive anything extra if the items are already unlocked and all Skill Points have been earned....

The Sword and Shield season is currently underway in Marvel Snap, and developers Second Dinner have continued to keep players on their toes by introducing brand new locations into the rotation. The Metro Redux collection has been rated on the PEGI website for the Nintendo Switch, suggesting that the games will be coming to the portable platform in the future (via DualShockers). Microsoft hosted its quarterly financial conference call for investors and analysts and chief executive officer Satya Nadella and chief financial officer Amy Hood talked about the Xbox business. Nadella boasted leadership for Xbox Series X and S among next-gen consoles in several markets in the past quarter (January to March), on top of significant growth of time played on game pass and Azure applications for gaming. Hood mentioned that Xbox hardware revenue was above expectations in the past quarter, while contents and services revenue was below expectations....

Third-party developers had news about upcoming add-ons coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including two airports. We start with LatinVFR, which announced Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (KBWI) in the United States. Closing out Sony’s E3 presser was a gameplay demo of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man. One of the things people picked up on in the footage was the fact that the web-slinging hero has a brand new suit. Rather than the regular black spider emblem that rests on Peter Parker’s chest in the comics and movies, there was a white one. Jeremy Clarkson will not be returning to narrate Forza Motorsport 6, Turn 10 has confirmed. “We have a great relationship with Top Gear,” creative director Bill Giese told VideoGamer.com at E3 earlier today. “We’ll include their Top Gear Track. The producers and writers have come up with some really cool Showcase events for us as well. Jeremy Clarkson will not be a part of the game.” Clarkson was fired from the BBC earlier this year following an “unprovoked physical attack” on a Top Gear producer....
