Metal Gear Solid might very well be over and done with now that Kojima is no longer affiliated with Konami, but the franchise at the very least came to a sound enough conclusion. This is to say nothing of its rich library of games as well. Metal Gear isn’t hurting for more entries and each game is memorable enough in their own right. Metal Gear has always done a particularly good job at ending on a high note, with final bosses that help wrap a bow on each game....

Today third-party developers had new reveals and releases to share about Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, while Microsoft itself released a new video. We start with DC Designs, which posted a development update and new screenshots of its upcoming Concorde. Today third-party developers shared news about add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including both aircraft and scenery. We start with DC Designs, which is working on the decals, rivets, and panel lines of its e F-4 Phantom. The developer will implement the correct mid-air refueling methods for each version, with the upper-mid-fuselage re-fuelling door for the USAF and the nose-mounted probe for US Navy and Royal Air Force. The F4E variant won’t have the leading-edge slats included in the later variants, as it was in the real world, and DC Designs is planning to simulate the departure stalls the aircraft was known for....

Today third-party developer Aeroplane Heaven released another relevant warbird for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the P-51D Mustang. The add-on is already available at the developer’s own store and SimMarket, while Orbx should be coming soon. The pricing is $35.95. It appears that Microsoft may have a new beta test on the horizon soon for the Xbox 360. Some gamers have already received an invitation to the “Xbox Live and Kinect Beta Program”. This invite was sent through Microsoft Connect, a service Microsoft describes as “your feedback improving Microsoft products.” Though the message reveals little about the beta, it states participants will be provided with “a unique opportunity to see pre-release software....

As the final Intel 13th Gen CPU launch for this particular batch of products, it’s coincidentally the most powerful Intel CPU to date. We expect there to be buzz generated around this CPU, hence why Intel have seemingly saved this one for last. A mission within Watch Dogs 2 which asks players to steal an E3 game trailer from Ubisoft’s servers has revealed what could be a new game from the publisher. The trailer features spaceships and has pretty strong No Man’s Sky look about it. Now, we’d usually assume this was a trailer for a made up game, but a former Ubisoft developer believes the trailer is actually for a real game....

An Italian voice actor may have dropped a big spoiler for the Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. Pietro Ubaldi, the voice of Daruk in the original game, was interviewed by fan site Lega Hyrule (via Resetera) and dropped a little nugget of information. Spoilers follow. Ubaldi has recently been recording voice lines for Nintendo’s new game and it turns out he’s not only dubbing the voice for Daruk, but also Daruk’s ancestor....

Journey will join its fellow Epic Games Store exclusive Outer Wilds as it ventures off to Steam this June. The game had been on Epic’s storefront since June of last year. And as the typical exclusivity contract went with EGS, this means it will break free of that single-storefront life very soon. Journey will be available on Steam starting on June 11. Microsoft’s well into its X019 stream and the announcements aren’t slowing down. While many of the games shown are completely new, one little kart racer took everyone by surprise. Kartrider: Drift will be bringing the “iconic” series to Xbox One and PC very soon. A free game for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, Drift is based on a long-running Korean racing franchise. Similar in scope to Mario Kart, players will assume the role of a miniature racer and scoot around environments with various weapons at their disposal....

Kenny Omega has finally made his long-awaited return to New Japan Pro Wrestling in what could go down as one of the Best Bout Machine’s most iconic entrances yet. The wrestler, who is a well-known fan of Japanese role-playing games, made his trip back to NJPW decked out in new wrestling gear inspired by Final Fantasy 7 villain Sephiroth to confront his longtime rival Will Ospreay. Riot Games has officially announced League of Legends: Wild Rift for mobile devices. The title will also be coming to unspecified consoles. We all knew it was just a matter of time, and what better time than on League of Legends 10th anniversary? Riot Games has built a new League of Legends game from scratch, subtitled Wild Rift. The gameplay rivals that of its PC sibling but features much shorter games that clock in around 15 minutes in length....
