Today developer Lost Soul Aside developer Ultizero Games released a new trailer of the highly-anticipated hack-and-slash RPG. The trailer comes by way of the game’s creator Yang Bing himself, and it was presented this morning at a conference in China. Another patch, another hero removed from the game. That seems to be the pattern of Overwatch 2, as Blizzard has temporarily deleted Mei from the game due to a game-breaking bug. This makes her the third hero to be disabled from all modes, following Bastion and Torbjörn, the former of which was also deleted from the game until last week. Ironically, it’s not even Mei herself who is causing the bug, but Blizzard has opted to get her removed from Overwatch 2 anyways....
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain sold over three times as many copies on PS4 during its first week on sale than Xbox One, according to figures released by GfK Chart Track. 72% of all physical copies sold were on PS4, Chart Track reports, with Xbox One managing just 22%. PS3, meanwhile, accounted for 3% with Xbox 360 taking just 2%. The game’s strong week one sales were also enough to make it the fastest-selling title in the series, beating opening week sales of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty by approximately 37%....

Third-party developers have released new work-in-progress screenshots about upcoming aircraft and airport add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with the latter, with Tailstrike Designs releasing new work-in-progress screenshot of Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR) in the Czech Republic. They were shared on the developer’s official Discord server. Next comes Aerosoft, which showcased new early screenshots of the Electronic Flight Bag in the works for its Airbus A330. Coincidentally, we also get a look at the EFB in the works for the freeware Airbus A330neo by Headwind currently in active development and already available on Flightsim....

Weeks after its initial announcement, Asobo has finally revealed the full suite of new aircraft coming in the brand-new Reno Air Races expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new package will include various race aircraft types, including the P51 Mustang class, North American T-6 class , the jet-powered L-39 Albatross class and the Pitts Special S1 bi-plane class. Each category of aircraft will come with special liveries that are full recreations of actual race planes....
The European Commission has announced that, following its initial investigation into Microsoft’s proposed $69bn acquisition of Activision Blizzard, it will now be opening a more “in-depth” Phase 2 probe to determine the deal’s likely impact on competition. In a statement on its website, the European Commission said it had made the decision after its preliminary investigation showed Microsoft’s acquisition may “significantly reduce competition on the markets for the distribution of console and PC video games, including multi-game subscription services and/or cloud game streaming services, and for PC operating systems”....

When you’re settling in for your fifth horror film in a 36-hour period, it’s easy to feel like nothing could scare you anymore. I thought I was a jaded cynic when I sat down to watch Incident In A Ghost Land, on the second night of FrightFest, but by the time the end credits rolled… well, I’m not ashamed to admit that I’d been reduced to a blubbering wreck. The warning signs were there, to be fair: writer-director Pascal Laugier scared cinemagoers senseless with last outing, the much-loved Martyrs, but still I thought I could handle his latest effort....
