Private Division, the indie arm of Take Two Interactive, recently shifted its focus to the highly anticipated Kerbal Space Program 2. So, fans of the original game probably weren’t expecting any more updates. However, Private Division and Squad have just announced a partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) to create a new free update for Kerbal Space Program called Shared Horizons. This new update is a celebration of the ESA’s incredible contributions to space exploration....

This Kidding review contains spoilers. Kidding Episode 10 Ah Kidding, the feel-good family hit airing its final episode of the season just in time for the holidays. I’m only kidding, of course. Capping an impressive run of episodes that only got stronger, and significantly darker, as the season progressed, Kidding’s season finale highlighted the series’ strengths: raw-nerve performances, bittersweet melancholy, nervous laughter, and magical realism. Jim Carrey’s sad clown routine has never been better, and even though the ending doesn’t completely work for me, it’s still a shockingly fitting conclusion to where Jeff’s story was heading all along....

Yesterday, Xbox and Hideo Kojima announced a partnership to create a game using Microsoft’s cloud technology. Some may have wondered where does that leave Kojima Production’s partnership with PlayStation which resulted in the creation of Death Stranding. Today Kojima Productions took to Twitter to clarify that it’s not a matter of either/or, and the relationship with PlayStation continues with a “very good partnership.” This shouldn’t surprise, since Kojima-san himself has recently reiterated the studio’s independence following speculation about acquisitions, which usually means working with multiple platform holders....

The classic helicopter combat series Comanche will be making an official return to PC, starting with an Early Access period in Q1 of 2020. THQ Nordic and studio Nukklear have released a teaser trailer for the game, and it shows the player taking control of drones in combat. According to THQ Nordic’s official announcement, the game will be both team-based and multiplayer-focused. The matches will take place with four-player teams....

The Loot box debate continues here in Europe. In a segment on Swedish Radio P3 News this morning talking about FIFA Ultimate Team, Swedish minister for public administration Ardalan Shekarabi alluded to the fact that loot boxes are being considered as gambling in Sweden. 2K’s Mafia 3 has set a week one sales record for the franchise, outpacing the launch week of Mafia 2 back in August 2010 by 58.7 per cent. Whilst sales are well up on Mafia 2, the third game couldn’t match the No.1 chart status of the earlier title, comfortably beaten to the top spot by EA’s FIFA 17. ChartTrack hasn’t reported by how much sales of FIFA 17 dropped week-on-week, but notes the game “dominates” for a second week....

The Divine Tree arc of the Mob Psycho 100 anime and manga has a doozy of a conclusion, and it centers entirely around Dimple. Not only does his character arc come full circle, but he also engages in one of the best fight scenes in the entirety of the series. Given how busted up he is by the end of the fight, though, and how he seems to disappear after disposing of the divine tree, you wouldn’t be blamed for wondering: Is Dimple dead in Mob Psycho 100, or did he simply need to regain his strength after his huge battle?...
