From the original Kingdom Hearts to Kingdom Hearts 3, Square Enix has provided an immense list of abilities to utilize for taking down Heartless, Unversed, Nobodies, and any other enemies unfortunate enough to stand in the way of a mighty Keyblade wielder. It will definitely become daunting to scroll through so many abilities, each with its own unique attributes, animations, frame data, etc. It might be easy just to throw on whatever abilities you unlock, but to really optimize your gameplay, there are a few abilities that stick out from the rest for better or worse....

Norwegian bodybuilder and Twitch streamer Knut Spildrejordehas been banned from TwitchCon 2019, which will be held in San Diego from September 27th-30th. Though a specific reason has not yet been provided, there are several theories that likely explain the decision. According to some rumors, Knut is being barred from the event due to his earlier ejection from TwitchCon Europe, which was held in Berlin this past April. This seems to be the only real explanation behind the ban, but it is a bit odd considering the confusion surrounding his removal....

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding has quickly become one of the most anticipated games of the year and he appears to be taking advantage of this fact with his latest twitter post showcasing images of the background. While Kojima has done other games in the past, most know him for his work with the worldwide phenomenon that is Metal Gear Solid. Having worked on the franchise for the better part of 28 years, he wanted a new challenge and he was finally given the creative freedom he craved....

Treyarch has revealed that there are no plans to bring Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to the Nintendo Switch at the moment. Speaking to Twinfinite during a roundtable interview, the developer was quizzed if they had plans to bring ‘any aspect’ of the upcoming first-person shooter to Ninty’s hybrid powerhouse. In response, Senior Producer Yale Miller simply commented, ‘No, there is not.’ It’s probably not surprising considering none of the Call of Duty games have launched on a Nintendo system in the past few years....

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition looks set to make the jump to Nintendo Switch, if a quickly-deleted trailer uploaded by THQ Nordic is anything to go by. On Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s launch this April, players will be able to get their hands on an additional Mandalorian DLC. This will be part of the game’s Character Collection (Season Pass), which contains seven DLC packs. The first packs that will be available are The Mandalorian (season one), Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Classic Characters and the Trooper packs. Included in the Mandalorian pack will be the Mandalorian (naturally), Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11 and Kuill....

Fresh off a big weekend that saw Margot Robbie compete for her second Oscar after being nominated for Bombshell, as well as starring as the fantabulous Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey, the star is making news again by signing onto the next David O. Russell movie. The casting brings Robbie opposite frequent Russell collaborator Christian Bale, who already boarded the unnamed and fairly secretive project. It also raises attention given Russell directed Bale to his Oscar win in 2010’s The Fighter....

BioWare has announced a major patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda, addressing some of the elements that people were vocally unhappy with and/or mercilessly made gifs of. The patch will be coming this Thursday, April 6. Aaryn Flynn, GM at BioWare, addressed some aspects of the patch in a post on the Mass Effect website. Drew Karpyshyn, the lead writer on Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, has said that BioWare became less creative and “more corporate” as the company’s ambitions grew (via VG247). Karpyshyn was hired in 2000, and spent twelve years working with BioWare, penning stories for Baldur’s Gate, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and the SW:TOR games. “I’ve been in the video game industry for twenty years now. When I started at BioWare, everything was fresh and exciting....

The announcement occurred during The Game Awards show and featured multiple trailers for fans to see what to expect. The first trailer leaned into the hype as the Master Chief emerged from a cooler to the surprise of a thirsty Fortnite character. Metro 2033 author Dmitry Glukhovsky has been added to Russia’s federal wanted list following comments about the war in Ukraine. Glukhovsky wrote on Telegram that he had been accused of discrediting the Russian Army, stemming from an Instagram post in March where he protested the Ukraine war, according to Radio Free Europe. “I am ready to reiterate again what I said before: ‘Stop the War!’” he said. A Russian law imposed in March criminalised any criticism or independent reporting on the Ukraine war, including calling it a “war” or “invasion” instead of a “special military operation”....

Third-party developers had new reveals to share about upcoming airport scenery add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with Scenic Routes, which officially announced Kefalonia Anna Pollatou Airport (LGKF) in Greece. The airport was teased a while ago and comes on the tail of the developer’s excellent rendition of Ljubljana Airport. It’s definitely very a very scenic airport serving a popular holiday destination, and it hosts many seasonal flights from all over Europe in the summer....
