A digital electronics engineer in Cambridge has built a giant 2 metre-high computer that can be used to play Tetris. As reported by the BBC, James Newman began building the ‘Megaprocessor’ in his bungalow in 2012, which he hoped would help visualise the functions of a normal chip-sized processor and be used for educational purposes. His final creation features 10,000 lights, weighs around half a tonne and measures 10m wide, with the cost coming in at around £40,000....

Microsoft Flight Simulator developers keep releasing new assets and add-ons for the popular sim, and today is no exception. We start with DC Designs (and CJ Simulations), which released new screenshots of the Eurofighter Typhoon and AV-8B Harrier II, alongside a brief development update. Today third-party developers shared news and releases of Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, including both aircraft and airports. We start with Iris Simulations, which released a teaser video of its upcoming Pilatus PC-21, showing this military trainer’s maneuverability. Microsoft has released its proxy statement ahead of its annual shareholders meeting in December. In it, the company’s board of directors advises shareholders to vote against two proposals for independent reports to be conducted into Microsoft’s military contracts. Proposal four, submitted by Boston Common Asset Management and Impact Investors, concerns the ethics of how the US government uses Microsoft’s technology. Proposal five, submitted by Harrington Investments, cites the potential impacts of being involved with development of weapons for the US military....

A new report claims Ubisoft is working on a sequel to Immortals Fenyx Rising and a new Prince of Persia game. The report comes from Xfire’s Tom Henderson, who claims that Ubisoft is planning a big showcase event later this year. Citing “several sources with direct knowledge” of the publisher’s plans, it’s claimed this event would’ve taken place before E3. However, the event has apparently been put on hold due to “recent world events”....

Today Developer SimulaM released a new video of its upcoming Jesus simulator I am Jesus Christ. In the video, we get to see more famous episodes of the life of Jesus Christ, the Last Summer and the Garden of Gethsemane. Incidentally, the developer also mentions that the plan is still to launch the Prologue alongside early access by the end of the year.
