Today NIS America announced the western release of Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society. The game, which was originally released in Japan in 2020 with the title Labyrinth of Galleria: Coven of Dusk for PS4 and PS Vita, is getting a brand new platform slate for North America and Europe, PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date yet, but we know that it’ll launch in early 2023....

Finally, we know the answer to that age-old question: What do you get if you cross Fortnite and Rocket League? You get Notmycar, that’s what you get. As you’ve probably noticed, gaming’s only about one thing just now: battle royales. Since Fortnite really took off (is that game a big deal or what?), everyone’s been wanting a slice of the action. The ever-present Call of Duty series has its spangly new Blackout mode, Battlefield 5’s got its own take on the concept… everybody’s at it....

Today Riot Games released a new video dedicated to the upcoming League of Legends 2D fighting game code-named “Project L” The video stars director Tom Cannon as he provided an update following a similar video from last year. We hear the confirmation that the game will be free to play, which may indeed not be too surprising to fans of the other games by Riot. That being said, the developers promise to be respectful of the players’ time and wallet in terms of monetization....

Today third-party developers shared news about Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons focusing on upcoming airports. We start with SimNord, which revealed new screenshots of its upcoming Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (EKCH). We also get an update from M’M Simulations, which revealed its roadmap for 2023. Four airports have been announced. We start with Turku Airport (EFTU) in Finland, a relatively small but interesting airport in the south of the country. The next in line will be Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes (ENEV) in Norway, a mixed civilian and military base in the scenic North of the Scandinavian country....

Today Microsoft and third-party developers had news to share about Microsoft Flight Simulator and its add-ons. First of all, Sim Update 9 has been officially released. It requires it’s usual preliminary download on the Windows Store or Steam weighing about 500 MB, and then a further download after the simulator is launched weighing 4.72 GB. This update mostly focused on fixing issues related to crashes, weather, navigation, and much more, but it also introduces significant changes to the F/A-18....

It’s come to light that Microsoft has quietly ended production of its previous-gen Xbox One console at the end of 2020. Xbox’s senior director of console product marketing Cindy Walker confirmed the news in a statement to The Verge. “To focus on production of Xbox Series X|S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020,” she said. The news comes just as it was confirmed by Bloomberg that Sony will continue manufacturing the PlayStation 4 through 2022....
