Journey to the Savage Planet is now available digitally on the Nintendo Switch in Europe and the Americas. If you want to get physical, physical, the game will be purchasable from retailers on June 25 in Europe, and shortly after that in the Americas. For Russian players, the digital release of Journey to the Savage Planet is set for May 28 (only a week to wait!). And, H2 Interactive will publish both digital and physical versions of Journey to the Savage Planet for the Switch in Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan in the near future....

Microsoft, in the form of Kudo Tsunoda, appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show off Microsoft Kinect in its first post-E3 performance. Gamers might remember when Kinect was on the show over a full year ago, and it went really smoothly. This year, however, that was not the case. With Kinect Adventure’s River Rafting the game of choice, Kudo and Miranda Cosgrove took to the streams - and the Kinect took to lagging....

Lawyers for Atari have filed against KitKat’s parent company Nestlé because of a 30 second ad that did a chocoately riff off the classic Atari game Breakout. At least, that’s how Atari sees it, anyway. Basically, in the ad (which only aired in the UK) a bunch of different people play a game that looks a bit like Breakout, but with KitKat Bites instead of the Breakout bricks. The complaint that was filed last week alleges that Nestlé has ‘without Atari’s authorization, leverage[d] Breakout and the special place it holds among nostalgic Baby Boomers, Generation X, and even today’s Millenial and post-Millenial “gamers” in order to maximize the reach of worldwide, multi-platform advertisements’....

Slender: The Arrival developer Blue Isle Studios has unveiled its latest game is coming next month as sci-fi multiplayer shooter LEAP. The FPS promises 60-player action with players able to pick from one of four unique classes. Each of these classes promises different stats in power, agility and defence and an epic ability. Said abilities can include Orbital Lasers to rain down fire, or support shields to offer cover. Players will then drop into matches as one of two teams; either the United Earth Defense Coalition or the Exo-Terrans....

No, Leatherface won’t be leaving Dead by Daylight, despite rumours to the contrary. A previous tweet from Twitter account DbDLeaks implied that Leatherface would be leaving the horror game due to Friday the 13th licensing issues. However, developer Behaviour Interactive has debunked the rumour with a statement to Eurogamer. With how confusing the Legend of Zelda timeline is, fans can be forgiven for thinking Link is the main character of the series. Beating Thanatos in Lost Ark Thanatos is one of the major boss encounters you’ll need to get through while you’re playing through the main story quests. Indie developer Asteroid Base has announced that its well-received co-op action game, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 3. The game will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for £11.99. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a 1-4-player action shooter set aboard a giant neon spaceship, where players have to work together to save a range of animals, while switching between manning the spacecrafts controls and maintaining defences against alien robots....

A 24-year-old man from Poland faces over 9,000 criminal charges for attempting to sell access to multiple video game accounts between 2014 and 2018. According to court documents, the man gained more than $260,000 while selling these accounts but now faces both prison time and a financial penalty. The unnamed defendant concocted a scheme that was meant to offer access to a single account to as many gamers as possible. However, restrictions on Steam account access and other digital storefronts prevented this idea from ever actually delivering on its promise....
