I have a certain understanding when it comes to games with “simulator” in the title. I tend to assume, well, it’s going to be German, and it’s possibly going to be janky. Astoundingly, Lawn Mowing Simulator is not one of those games. Sure, it has the same goal, but it’s actually very well made. It absolutely didn’t need to be, but the folks at Skyhook Games actually did their best to make a good game, and they succeeded....

Game Freak’s latest non-Pokémon title is making its way to different systems, as Little Town Hero is coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan. Little Town Hero is an RPG about a young boy named Axe, who is stuck in a village that no one is allowed to leave. Axe discovers a strange red stone, which leads to monsters attacking the village. In order to fight the monsters, Axe needs to use the power of ideas in combat, as he and his foe do battle across a giant board that changes the flow of the battle each turn....

Sony made claims to set 5 Guinness World Records in New York City, and with the assistance of plenty of sackboy-helpers, the mission was certainly accomplished. Over the last 3 days since the release of LittleBigPlanet 2, gamers in the New York Area visited the Sony Style store and played to their hearts content, under the watch of Guinness officials. Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has revealed the eight Master System games that’ll be playable within detective adventure Lost Judgment when it launches next month. In case you need a quick refresher, hero Takayuki Yagami will have a Master System in his office in the game. The console replaces the pinball machine (or Outrun cabinet in the recent remastered version) in the original Judgment. Yagami will be able to take time out from solving crimes and play complete versions of all eight games....

During today’s Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, we finally got news on one of Marvel’s next big video game projects. Marvel’s Midnight Suns finally has its release date. Coming from the developer of the XCOM series, Firaxis Games, it’s a card based, real-time strategy game in the vein of XCOM. Players will control a team of some of Marvel’s edgiest heroes with the help of their unique, custom-made character. Marvel’s Midnight Suns also features dialogue trees with branching paths and promises the “choices matter” tagline, as many of these types of games do....

Today, keeping with their exclusive preview, Gameinformer has revealed another delectable meal of new information: Five Facts About Hawke in Dragon Age II. Leaked files containing information on Meta Quest 3 have surfaced online. The leak comes from YouTuber Brad Lynch, known as SadlyItsBradley, who posts videos on VR and AR. The headset which Lynch detailed in his video “This is the Meta Quest 3” is a different headset to the Meta Quest Pro that was found in a hotel and unboxed earlier this month. Third-party developers had a few reveals to share about upcoming addons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including aircraft and airports. RPSimulations announced that it’s working on the Brazillian military trainer Embraer EMB-312 Tucano. The reveal was made on the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Developers Worldwide Facebook group and you can see a few images below. The next reveal comes from Orbx, which will release a completely rebuilt version 2 of Hollywood Burbank Airport (KBUR) in the United States....

Xbox has finally announced a new release date for its Top Gun: Maverick DLC for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The official Xbox Twitter account revealed the news in a rather low-key fashion, declaring the date for May 25. That’s two days before the movie’s theatrical release date on Friday, May 27. The tweet didn’t offer any further information however, such as what exactly will be in the offering. Xbox and Asobo Studio announced the tie-in DLC back during last year’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, and at that event did confirm the pack will include the F-18 Super Hornet featured in the movie....
