Stefan Dietz was flying through Portland International Airport early Thursday morning when he saw a man playing Apex Legends in an unusual spot. Today during the Ubisoft Forward livestream presentation, a new trailer was shown for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, the upcoming turn-based strategy game for the Nintendo Switch, that featured seven minutes of extended gameplay footage as well as a tease for some of the game’s post-launch DLC. Superhero mashup Marvel Ultimate Alliance and its sequel have vanished from the PlayStation Store, Steam, and Xbox Store. Both games were spruced up for current-generation systems two years ago, although they’ve now been delisted (as predicted correctly by this Resetera post) due to Activision’s licence having expired. Marvel Ultimate Alliance was developed by Raven Software and originally launched in October 2006 for Gameboy Advance, PlayStation 2, PC, Xbox, and Xbox 360....

When players first booted up Mass Effect 2 they were greeted with the option of importing their save file from Mass Effect 1. The hope was that every choice made in the first game would have some impactful repercussion in its sequel. Unfortunately, most of those promises were never delivered upon, with many of the imports subtly affecting pieces of dialogue or the appearances of characters. Bioware hopes to improve upon this formula by taking more than 1,000 variables from the first two games and using them to create the story for Mass Effect 3....

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox and Bethesda Games showcase set for 12th June at 6pm UK time. Microsoft Flight Simulator developer Asobo has announced that the next locale getting a sprucing up in a forthcoming World Update will be the UK. The team made the announcement as part of a livestream (as spotted by Eurogamer) celebrating the launch of the most recent update, focusing on the USA.
