[Update – January 20 @ 5:15 PM ET]: Xbox boss Phil Spencer released a new comment today on exclusive releases regarding the Activision Blizzard deal. In a Twitter message, Spencer said Microsoft intends to “honor all existing agreements upon acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.” Of course, Spencer didn’t clarify if this meant new CoD games or live service releases like Warzone. But it’ll be a matter of time before we know for sure....

Microsoft has announced a number of venue changes for E3 2018 as it gears up for what it’s trumpeting as the company’s ‘biggest showing ever.’ This includes a stop at the Microsoft Theatre in the heart of Los Angeles, where the Xbox One manufacturer will host its annual Media Briefing, which you can expect will be jam-packed full of new game reveals and probably a few stage demos thrown in for good measure....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 6 began at the end of last month. As always, fans were intrigued to find out what new weapons would be added to kick off the season. Riot Games has revealed Legends of Runeterra, a new free-to-play competitive card game that is set in the world of League of Legends (via Metabomb). The game is pitched towards a late 2020 release window, and a few alphas and betas will precede that to tweak and test the new card game.
