The fast-paced card battler Marvel Snap finally has a release date. The game will launch worldwide on PC, Android, and iOS on October 18, with the PC client launching in Early Access. Marvel Snap has had a very long beta period, with some US users having been in the beta for months. I spent five minutes with MultiVersus over the weekend, which turned into ten minutes and then an hour and then the best part of a morning. MultiVersus is great! If you aren’t aware of it, it’s a Warner Bros-themed Smash Bros-alike. You choose from a bunch of familiar characters, and then fight on 2D stages. Your aim is to get ring-outs by lobbing enemies off the screen, and the more damage you do, the further they fly when you hit them....
Today Square Enix announced the next mainline game of the Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts 4, or Kingdom Hearts IV if you want to stick to the official stylization with the roman numerals. The announcement was made at the 20th-anniversary event in Tokyo, Japan, which was revealed back in January. Apparently, the new game is set at least in part in Quadratum, and the graphics are definitely spectacular, realistic in a way, but still stylized....

The upcoming Nintendo Switch release of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed to later this year. As per the game’s official Twitter, the collection was set to release alongside the other formats this February. “However, we are sorry to share that the Nintendo Switch versions of the games have been a little set back and will need a bit more time until they are ready”. As a result, the Switch versions will now arrive “later this year”....
Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange: True Colors will finally arrive on Nintendo Switch digitally from December 7. This version of the game had intended to release with the other formats back in September. However, it was delayed a few weeks out as it was “running a little late.” It’ll be the first time the series has appeared on Nintendo’s Switch in any form.
