Microsoft has announced a slew of new titles coming to its Xbox Game Pass service over the next few weeks. First up is Metal Gear Survive and The Banner Saga on May 23, followed by Void Bastards on May 29. Horror multiplayer title Dead by Daylight and Outer Wilds both get added on May 30, before Full Metal Furies, Superhot and The Banner Saga 2 complete the current set on June 6....
According to a post on NeoGAF, Metal Gear Survive will require an internet connection for both its single-player and multiplayer modes. It’s currently unclear from the wording whether the game will be able to progress when played offline. When you navigate to the game’s product page there is a disclaimer that states that a ‘PlayStation Plus subscription required for online-multiplay,’ and this is followed by another line which says that ‘an internet connection is required to play the game....
Nintendo really kept this one close to its chest, announcing Metroid: Samus Returns, a remake of Metroid II for Nintendo 3DS today. It’s coming out on September 15, 2017. Anyone who’s listened to the Japanese audio for Kingdom Hearts will be familiar with voice actor Yu Shimaka: ever since the series launched in 2002, the 70-year-old voice actor has put in memorable performances as Goofy, the lovable anthropomorphic dog that has been ever-presented in the Kingdom Hearts series. It’s been a year and a half since Kingdom Two Crowns got a new biome. Dead Lands was released for free in April of last year, and that followed on from the previous free biome. Nintendo has released a new update for Splatoon 3 that brings communication improvements. Since launch, players have complained of poor communication when playing online, causing inconsistent gameplay, errors, and game crashes.
