IO Interactive has another video game in the works at its brand new studio in Barcelona. The company revealed today that IOI Barcelona will join two other studios in working on the Hitman series, as well as the upcoming Project 007 and an unannounced title. IO teased that there’s plenty in store for the company — Barcelona is just the beginning. The press release announced that IOI Barcelona will join IOI Copenhagen and IOI Malmö in making “a significant impact to ongoing development and publishing efforts across all projects....

Blackmill Games and M2H released another video of Isonzo, the upcoming FPS set in the trenches of World War I‘s Italian front. The video shows a work-in-progress look at the Dolomites map. Just Cause 3’s Mech Land Assault content pack, the second from the game’s Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass, will be available to Expansion Pass holders this Friday, June 3, Square Enix has announced. A wider release will follow on June 10. Around two weeks ago, Sega posted a trailer that gave a general overview of the combat system featured in Like a Dragon: Ishin! Specifically, the trailer went over the four combat styles that players can cycle through mid-combat. These styles allow protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma to wield a katana, a gun, or even both at the same time for some truly brutal offense. Late last year when Microsoft launched its new line of consoles, the company also delivered an interesting HDR program. In an effort to modernize its back catalog, Microsoft implemented an auto HDR solution to older games. In short, this program retroactively applies High Dynamic Range lighting to games that launched before HDR was widely adopted by developers.
