Microsoft is billing the Xbox Scorpio as a premium 4K gaming device, and with that people are expecting a premium price. But new comments made by senior director of product management and planning at Xbox, Albert Penello, indicate this might not be the case. Although saying very little, what Penello has told Eurogamer gives hope the Scorpio could launch at a price comparable to the PS4 Pro. Third-party developers have provided more news about upcoming airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with Drzewiecki Design which revealed Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR) in the United States. As one of the three major airports serving New York City, and the only one that doesn’t have dedicated scenery, this definitely feels like great news for simmers who love flying in the United States. Next, we get another view of Tokushima Awaodori Airport (RJOS) in Japan by Gate15Scenery, showing a nearby industrial complex and the fire station....

The creator has recently set up a website, presumably for a new game, which features nothing more than a shadowy visage with the words “Who Am I?” written across the image. Clicking on this image then gives you the option to share said picture across various social media feeds, something that Geoff Keighly has done. As such, the internet now expects whatever this new project of Kojima’s is to be fully unveiled at The Game Awards this December....

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker originally had Link play theremin, rather than conduct the winds using his titular conductor’s baton. The detail comes from a 2003 issue of Nintendo Dream magazine, which popular YouTube channel Did You Know Gaming? has now translated. Zelda series boss Eiji Aounuma was all set to use a theremin as Link’s musical instrument of choice, with each control stick on the GameCube pad set to control each of Link’s hands as he manipulated its volume and pitch....

The developer behind My Time At Portia has announced a new management sim, Let’s School, which is due to launch in 2023. It’s a change of tack from a studio better known for its Harvest Moon-style life simulations - such as Portia and its follow-up My Time at Sandrock. Let’s School looks instead to be more in the vein of Theme Hospital - or more specifically, the recent school-set Two Point Campus....
