Microsoft reportedly offered Sony the option to add Call of Duty to its PlayStation Plus subscription service as part of its ongoing bid to acquire Activision Blizzard. That’s according to Bloomberg, who cited sources familiar with the negotiations between the two companies. This deal was allegedly made as part of Microsoft’s offer to Sony last month, which would see the Call of Duty series kept on PlayStation consoles for 10 years should the acquisition go through....

A new Indiana Jones game was announced recently, which will be created by the studio MachineGames, which will soon be part of Microsoft. While officials are still silent, several insiders assume that despite the takeover of Bethesda Softworks by Microsoft, the title will also release on PS5. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is finally arriving on the Nintendo Switch this October, developer TT Games and publisher Warner Bros. Games have announced. The blocky adventure originally launched back in 2013 and features an original story crossing the entire Marvel universe. Publisher Frontier Developments has released a gameplay overview trailer for upcoming strategy FPS hybrid Lemnis Gate. Unlike most other shooters, the default action takes place in turns. On your turn, you’ll deploy as an operative and control them in first person for 25 seconds. At the end of the turn, the timeloop resets, and the second member of your team takes their turn. The twist is that each loop, everyone who’s taken their turn will constantly repeat their actions in the next loop....

Little Nightmares 2 has really taken horror games up a notch with its seemingly involving and puzzling gameplay. At first blush, it can be hard to differentiate Little Nightmares II from its predecessor. The latest from Tarsier Studios runs the gamut of what’s expected in a follow-up to the 2017 outing: a minuscule child navigates an atmospheric, dangerous world; a linear path occasionally halted by straightforward platforming and puzzles; hidden keys for locks; even more elevators. In fairness, Little Nightmares II does build upon the original, expanding its world and upping its terrors — while unfortunately including an addition that fizzles....
