This time, it’s a short-ish first-person shooter with a strong focus on story, along with some puzzle elements. Well, at the beginning anyway. Although it was mainly put together by a couple of people, it’s actually really solid. Kill It With Fire, the spider-squishing action game from Casey Donnellan Games, will come to PC on August 13. The aim of the game is self-explanatory. The player is a fresh-faced recruit to the Kill It With Fire extermination company, and the incursion of a variety of arachnids have threatened the tranquility of suburbia. “To defeat spiders you must exploit their one weakness: FIRE. Japanese publisher and developer Koei Tecmo has announced its lineup and events for Tokyo Game Show 2022. Visitors will be able to enjoy a playable demo of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and the mobile game Nobunaga’s Ambition Hadou. On top of these, a brand new game by Gust (the developers of the Atelier series) will be revealed and playable at the show. At the moment, there is no further information about the game and whether it’ll be part of the Atelier series or something else....

Curve Games and Skyhook Games have announced that Lawn Mowing Simulator is cutting its way to PlayStation platforms from today. The game, which originally launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC last year, does pretty much what it says on the tin. You’ll get to be the manager of your own grass trimming business, as you rise from buying your first sit-on mower. Naturally, you can expect a ton of real-world licensed lawn mowers, all with several attachments to tackle different jobs....
Remember that cancelled Level-5 game that the studio teased would be making a comeback? Well, the developer has confirmed to Famitsu magazine (via Nintendo Life) that the game is in fact Ushiro, a title originally in development for PlayStation Portable. Ushiro was shelved following its 2008 reveal, although it’ll now be resurrected for the Nintendo Switch. It’s a turn-based strategy game set in modern Japan, where the protagonist interacts with various ghosts and features a gorgeous anime-style aesthetic....

Iron Man 3 is one of the most panned Marvel movies on there, but here’s why it doesn’t deserve its awful reputation. “I’m so sorry that everyone on the internet has decided to have the worst opinions when it comes to Marvel movies, but while talking about the worst movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you best keep Iron Man 3 out ya mouth. Easily the best movie in the Iron Man trilogy (yes, I am including regular old Iron Man in that, but it’s just because I like how deep Iron Man 3 goes into Tony’s anxieties and struggles), I think that Iron Man 3 gets a bad rap because it pushed the envelope, which then informed movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the emotional impact these situations have on their characters....

A new listing implies that Biomutant will be getting a Switch release this October. The listing, spotted by GoNintendo, can be found on Portuguese site Gaming Replay. It includes a price (54,99 €), Switch box cover art, and a release date - 25th October. While nothing has been officially announced by developer Experiment 101, a Switch edition of the game has long been rumoured to be coming eventually.
