Square Enix has released ‘The Wingsuit Experience’, a companion app that offers players a 360 degree flythrough of Just Cause 3’s island. Available to download today on iPhone, iPad and Android devices, the free app follows lead character Rico Rodriguez on a skydive across Medici, using the devices’ gyrometer to let players look around the island in full 360 degrees. It also includes support for a VR mode which, when used with Google Cardboard or other VR goggles, lets players tilt the camera with their head....
For a few months now, one of the big questions I’ve had in comics is “How the hell did Green Lantern #12 happen?” That series closed with Hal Jordan, so deep in his Blackstar cover that everyone believes he flipped and joined the fascist space army, using a Miracle Machine (the machine from the end of Final Crisis that turns wishes into reality) to reset reality. And the one that came out the other side of the Miracle Machine was a dark universe where the Blackstars were on the march, on the verge of consolidating their power once they finish off Earth....
Cardboard Computer’s Kentucky Route Zero will release its fifth installment on January 28, and will release the TV Edition with all episodes for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One (via Polygon). A point-and-click magical realist adventure game, Kentucky Route Zero follows a truck driver who is hired by an antique company to make a delivery to 5 Dogwood Drive. Driving along the fictional Route Zero to find the address, the game lets the player command the story with determinant dialogue and switches between characters between the mysterious, liminal locations....

Velan Studios’ competitive “dodgebrawl” game Knockout City has officially gone free-to-play. Knockout City - which launched on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC last May - was initially published under the EA Originals label, but earlier this year Velan announced it would be taking over publishing duties and shifting to a free-to-play model starting with its sixth season. Both the free version of Knockout City and Season 6: City of Tomorrow are now here, introducing, among other things, the new Boomerang Ball across all playlists, the Starfruit Special energy drink, the sci-flyer crew vehicle, a permanent new career contract, an expanded hideout area, various map improvements, and more, as detailed in today’s patch notes....
Bandai Namco recently put out a tweet that was promoting an upcoming Dragon Ball Z action RPG game that is due to be released this year. The tweet also stated that a character from Universe 11 was coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ and that more information was going to be revealed at the world tournament that was being held for the game. It seems that the people at V-Jump beat Bandai Namco to the punch, as a leaked image from the upcoming issue of the magazine (via Event Hubs) confirms that Jiren will be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is the character most fans assumed would be representing Universe 11....

A live action Pokemon film based on the new Detective Pikachu character will enter production next year, Legendary and The Pokemon Company have announced. Detective Pikachu will be the first live action film utilising the Pokemon franchise, which is currently riding high thanks to the record-breaking success of Pokemon GO. Universal Pictures will distribute the film outside of Japan. Microsoft and Asobo have rolled out the latest major update for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This new, relatively hefty 22GB+ update, dubbed World Update 4, brings with it scenery enhancements to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Various airports around each of these countries have been reworked, with some major airports getting a total handcrafted makeover like the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Dozens upon dozens of Points of Interest (POIs) have also been added such as various towers, castles, and other famous structures (with their being over 100 in all)....
