The Mortal Kombat 11 Joker DLC launches on January 28, but clips of the new character have already been revealed by NetherRealm Studios. So far, fans have gotten a look at Joker’s Fatalities, Brutalities, alternate costumes, and some of his dialogue. Some of The Joker’s dialogue in Mortal Kombat 11 is particularly interesting, as it teases the next installment in the Injustice fighting game franchise. It’s been discovered that if players have The Joker fight himself, the dialogue they exchange references a potential Injustice 3 game....

Today Koei Tecmo announced its Financial Results for the Fiscal Year which ended on March 31, 2022. Sales for the whole company were 72.759 billion yen, up 20.5% year-on-year, while operating income was 34.527 billion yen, up 41.5% year-on-year. These are described by the company as record results. The Entertainment business, which includes video games, saw sales of 68.811 billion yen and profit at 33.827 billion yen, showing significant growth on both fronts....

Today NIS America announced the western release date of Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society. The game, which was originally released in Japan in 2020 with the title Labyrinth of Galleria: Coven of Dusk for PS4 and PS Vita, will be released in North America and Europe for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on February 14, 2023 It’s a follow-up to Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, which also took about three years to be localized....

Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics were just the start. Now, Riot Forge is looking at producing… a rhythm-runner game. Future episodes of Life is Strange will launch at intervals of no more than two months, co-director Michel Koch has told Eurogamer. Koch said that the publicised six week release schedule wasn’t accurate, and that development is already going well on future episodes. “We’re done on episode two, quite advanced on episode three, a little less on episode four and a bit less than that on episode five,” Koch said. “But the plan is to keep the same rhythm on each episode....
