Jessica Jones introduced us to Luke Cage, and the bulletproof strong man is now preparing for his own series. The show’s debut trailer was premiered at Comic Con and now a full length trailer has been released, revealing more of what fans can expect from the Netflix series. Season One of Marvel’s Luke Cage will be streaming in full from September 30. “After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City....

Beyond being the fastest-selling Marvel game, Marvel’s Spider-Man was incredibly well-received for its gameplay, presentation, and compelling narrative involving the lives of both Peter Parker and, his superhero persona, Spider-Man. It had its share of flaws, but by nearly all accounts, it gave the Arkham series a run for its money as one of the most quality superhero games ever released. Other than this, the only other notable piece of information on the page is its release date, which indicates that it is coming out on September 4 of this year....

Following the launch of MultiVersus’ second season last week, the free-to-play fighter’s roster has now expanded once more, this time ushering in Looney Tunes’ extraterrestrial extraordinaire Marvin the Martian. Marvin’s imminent arrival was teased last week as Season 2 got underway, but he officially joins the line-up today, bringing Multiversus’ total number of playable fighters up to 23 - with Marvin joining recent additions such as Black Adam and Gremlins’ Gizmo and Stripe....

BioWare has released a new gameplay trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda offering the first in-depth look at next year’s sci-fi stunner. The 4-minute trailer (below) reveals the first proper look at some of the game’s new worlds and squadmates, including a krogan and turian that appear to join your crew. There’s a new look at the Nomad, too, which you can use to drive around the environments, and a glimpse at an analysis tool that lets you scan your environment and investigate crime scenes....

Metal Gear Solid. Not technically the game that started it all, but the game that truly started it all. The Metal Gear saga as we know it began here, not with the original Metal Gear. It’s hard to imagine that the gaming industry today, with its reliance on voice acting and movie-inspired cutscenes, would have evolved the same way without the release of Metal Gear Solid. It’s a true watershed title in the video game canon....

The pre-4.0 action appears to have kicked off this afternoon as the first meteors have started to all on the Fortnite Battle Royale island. Twitter has lit up with posts from players showing the smaller fragments of meteors and their impacts. Nobody knows how long this is going to go on for or how it will eventually play out. With some sort of superhero theme being teased earlier today, that may play some part in saving the island from complete destruction....

Inertial Drift: Twilight Rivals Edition, an updated version of Inertial Drift, is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in September. Inertial Drift is an arcade drift-heavy racer. It’s reminiscent of Hotshot Racing, which also championed distinctly drifty play. The crux of Inertial Drift is its twin-stick drifting mechanics. It takes place an alternate version of the nineties. The new version of the game features a new story mode, and various enhancements over its original version....

After grabbing the top spot last week, Injustice 2 has hung onto its UK charts crown, despite a push from Blizzard’s team-shooter Overwatch. Overwatch jumped up from number 18 to number 2 on the same week its Game of the Year edition was released, and it celebrated its one year anniversary. New entires were RiME, and Switch games Ultra Street Fighter II and Disgaea 5: Complete which debuted at 27, 10, and 36, respectively....

The Fox network documentary Inside The Manson Cult: The Lost Tapes trims more than 100 hours of never-before-seen Manson family footage to fit into 90 minutes of viewable film, which could have been cut another half hour and told a bigger picture. Directed by Hugh Ballantyne, who made Finding Jesus, the special features original 16mm footage shot by Robert Hendrickson, who directed the 1973 documentary Manson and died in 2016. Most of it was shot while the Manson family lived on Spahn’s Ranch....

Film, television, and stage actor Jerry Stiller died of natural causes, as according to his son Ben Stiller. He was 92. “I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes,” Ben announced on Twitter. “He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.” Stiller is known for his TV roles as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner on The King of Queens, and multiple films including, The Taking of Pelham One, Two, Three, John Waters’ Hairspray, his son’s Zoolander, and Richard Lester’s adaptation of Terrence McNally’s play, The Ritz, which Jerry also acted in on Broadway....

Mike Bithell (Thomas Was Alone, The Solitaire Conspiracy), announced today on Twitter that one of his recent games, John Wick Hex, is coming to Steam. The originally launched last year exclusively on the Epic Games Store. As we’ve seen from other developers, Bithell is wasting no time moving his game to Steam. John Wick Hex is set to launch on Steam, Xbox One, and Switch on December 4. Told you we weren’t done, and we still aren’t, this is a weird week… John Wick Hex is coming to Switch, Xbox, Steam....

Square Enix has released a new title update for the PS4 version of Just Cause 3 that aims to significantly reduce load times. The patch rolled out across Europe earlier today, with an Xbox One release due later in the week. It comes to PC this Friday. Alongside the improved load times, the 132mb patch also features “general stability fixes”, optimises online stats and fixes an issue that could cause vehicles to disappear when starting a challenge....

Mortal Kombat 11 players now have a new reason to flex their fatalities. NetherRealm Studios has announced the Kombat League — a new, online ranked multiplayer mode broken up into four week seasons. Riot Games will be making a few changes to the League of Legends achievement system before it goes live. The developers announced Eternals, a new champion-based system, earlier in August, but have opted to make various alterations following feedback from the League of Legends community, per their latest statement. Eternals will be split into two categories, common and unique, moving forward. Common sets will comprise of “broadly-applicable” Eternals, such as the tracking of kills, takedowns, and objectives destroyed....

After having been initially touted as a PlayStation Move launch title and then being delayed into 2011, it looked like SOCOM 4 wasn’t turning out to be the title gamers were expecting. From a developer with a pedigree of delivering solid squad based multiplayer experiences, SOCOM 4 was in a perfect place to steal a big chunk of the motion control market had it not fallen short.
