Team Ninja is reportedly rebooting both its Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises. Korean website Ruliweb reports that Fumihiko Yasuda confirmed plans to resurrect the two dormant franchises at a panel at the G-Star Conference earlier this week (thanks, VGC). Whilst Yasuda stopped short of giving any concrete details, he reportedly said that whilst he couldn’t tell us any more right now, he hopes to deliver news we’d like to see “as soon as possible”....

Lost Ark is the latest top-down fantasy massively multiplayer online action role-playing game on Steam that is trending among players. It was the second most played game within twenty-four hours after its release. Lost Ark offers everything in its vast lands, explorations, looting, and a variety of quests. Along with this, the game does not disappoint in its armor, weaponry, and other skins. The game also has a lot of Emotes that can be selected or typed in chat and show the character performing them....

It was very recent that Magic: Legends became available to players. The action RPG’s Beta started in March of this year with Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment handling its development. You may know them for the enduring Neverwinter massively multiplayer online RPG. Despite that seeming like a recipe for success, Magic: Legends is shutting down on October 31, 2021. As such, the game will remain playable for the next four months....

A new extended Japanese trailer shows Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in a lot more detail, including a little fencing action featuring Waluigi. Gamescom has been packed with new information this week, and the event isn’t yet over at the time of typing this. Once you enter the latter part of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you’ll be confronted with the game’s second major boss battle where you’ll have to beat Fin Fing Foom. As you’ve no doubt noticed, there’s a pretty substantial gap between the first and second big fights. But at least they went big. Fin Fang Foom is, obviously, a giant space dragon. He’s also one of the oldest characters in the game, as he was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee....

Spotted by Reddit, the listing currently carries a placeholder December 31, 2016 date, but does not reveal what it may include. If it’s legit, it’s possible that the edition could include both Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, both of which were released separately in 2014 and 2015. Alternatively, it could simply be a re-release of The Phantom Pain with Metal Gear Online’s DLC....

Asobo has formally released World Update 5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator which brings a whole slew of enhancements to the Nordic European countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. These countries are well-known for stunning natural vistas and historical architecture, so this new update boosts the visual fidelity of those areas in Microsoft Flight Simulator to bring it closer to the level of the real-world environments. World Update 5 includes enhanced satellite imagery, as well as improved data for 100 airports, making them each more accurate....

You’d be forgiven for thinking that Elex II is just a janky, low-budget action RPG because, well, umm… it is. Frontier Developments has announced that Jurassic World Evolution has sold over two million copies, cementing it as the company’s ‘biggest launch to date.’ The dino-’em-up launched in July 2018 and sold one million units in just five weeks, and attracted some pretty strong reviews to boot. Frontier also confirmed that Elite Dangerous has flogged over three million copies across PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. ‘We are very pleased with the success of Jurassic World Evolution, which has been our biggest launch to date,’ commented Frontier boss, David Braben....

Nintendo has announced that Luigi’s latest ghost hunting adventure will be releasing on Nintendo Switch this Halloween. As per the announcement on Twitter, the game will be available on October 31, an apt date for the adventure which will see Luigi once more battle ghouls and ghosts this time in a spooky hotel. He really needs to get a better real estate agent. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will also feature co-op, allowing players to team up with one controlling a gooey clone of Luigi dubbed Goo-igi....
