Episode One of Dontnod Entertainment’s Life is Strange 2 will debut on September 27 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The sequel to the 2015 episodic teen drama will feature five episodes, although we don’t know the names of them yet. Life is Strange 2 will get fresh info this August, so presumably that means it’ll be strutting its stuff at Gamescom. That’s about all there is to see, unless you count the all-too-brief teaser trailer, which shows the logo being stitched on an old backpack....
Life Is Strange has sold 1 million units, Square Enix has announced, with the fourth episode set to arrive on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next Tuesday, July 28. The publisher describes the milestone as a “huge achievement” for developer Dontnod, adding that it’s “incredibly proud” of the episodic game’s success. It isn’t clear whether the statistic accounts for combined sales across all episodes or downloads of the initial episode....

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has officially been announced through a length blog post from PlayStation. Their announcement, which highlighted some of the popular upcoming titles in 2023, immediately displayed the latest entry from Insomniac Games at the very beginning. Konami is working on a patch for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain that will repair any save data lost by its game-breaking bug. The patch will also fix the bug, Konami says, which sees players’ saves wiped after selecting Quiet as their buddy during Missions 29 and 42. “As Previously Communicated, a critical bug HAS Been IDENTIFIED That May halt Progress and corrupt Game Save data under Certain Circumstances,” Konami wrote on the Metal Gear website....
