The recently announced The Last of Us show, set to premier on HBO, has been making waves ever since it was announced last week. As the scope of the show is slowly being revealed by the showrunners, the game’s original director, Neil Druckmann, has recently given a hint at what parts of the story the show will be focusing on. Smilegate is still working to control bots and “illegitimate accounts” in its fan-favourite MMO, Lost Ark. Just last week, the developer banned over a million Lost Ark accounts it believed were bots, saying that its team “has been hard at work on crafting effective tools and methods to identify and remove bots from the game” and acknowledging that “in this massive ban wave, it is possible that a small number of players may be erroneously identified as bots”....

Today 2K Games and Firaxis Games released a brand new trailer dedicated to the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The video focuses on combat, showing the many ways you have to wreak havoc and destruction on the enemies of the Midnight Suns. Specifically, we get to see the unique card-based system and the many overlapping gameplay mechanics. One interesting aspect of Marvel’s Midnight Suns combat is how throwing around enemies makes them interact with the environment and each other, which isn’t something super-common in tactical games....

Microsoft Flight Simulator includes a wealth of different aircraft to take control of, and each aircraft is fairly unique, including the onboard avionics such as GPS and autopilot systems. Some aircraft feature very simplified systems, such as the JMB. Others are far more complex, such as the TBM 930 and the three default airliners. If you want to add at least a degree of realism to your flight sessions, then getting a basic understanding of these different systems is imperative....

Today third-party developers had a lot of new assets and news to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We start with PMDG, which provided an update about its 737 line. The current aircraft, -600, -700, and -800 have received a new patch to bring them up to speed with Sim Update 11, on top of tweaks to counter the simulator’s atmospheric instability. We also get the first screenshot of the upcoming 737-900, and the developer hopes beta testing for the aircraft to start next Friday....

Today Microsoft released a major update for its popular sim Microsoft Flight Simulator, while there is news on the third-party add-on side as well. The update, dubbed Sim Update 8 and numbered 1.23.12.0, includes tons of changes some of which are listed below. New marketplace interface, including a map displaying available airports with improved discoverability and a better navigation experience New Private Match game mode to Reno air Races is available via the Content manager and allow customization of aircraft performance, number of laps, in-race assists and time of day) New optional propeller simulation system with hundreds of moving surfaces covering the propeller realistically simulated has been implemented on 3 planes Cessna 152, Cessna 208 B Grand Caravan EX and Beechcraft King Air 350i now use the new propeller simulation system....

Today third-party developers had announcements and reveals to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We begin with veteran developer FSReborn, which is finally making the jump to Microsoft Flight Simulator with the Italian-made ultralight aircraft TL Ultralight Sting S4. The aircraft comes with plenty of goodies including an Electronic Flight Bag with realism and maintenance options, and a fully functioning aircraft rescue parachute system. Today third-party developer Reg Designs announced another important airport coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator as an add-on. The airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ) in Ontario, Canada. At the moment we know that the rendition of the airport is likely to be high-quality considering Reg Designs usual level. It will be made available both for PC and for Xbox, even if a release date has not been announced for either platform....
