Former Assassin’s Creed producer and EA Motive founder Jade Raymond has announced she’s heading up Google’s newly-unveiled Stadia Games and Entertainment studio. Raymond appeared on stage yesterday during Google’s GDC press conference, where she said the first-party studio is out to ‘reimagine the new generation of games’ as well as ‘working with external developers to make all of the bleeding-edge Google technology you’ve seen today available to partner studios big and small....

Last year, it was reported that the Judgment series could very well end due to a talent agency not wanting their client’s likeness to be used in PC games. Thankfully, that rationale has apparently been thrown out the window, as Judgment and Lost Judgment are both available on PC via Steam. Yes, you’ll be able to pick up both games as of now. I’m not sure how everything came together, but I’m very glad it did....

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle surprised audiences when it turned out to be actually good. The 2017 movie might not replace the 1995 classic starring Robin Williams, but the comedic performances of its core quartet proved for an entertaining trip to the movies. Ubisoft’s Just Dance is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with an online campaign designed to raise funds for dementia research, while also releasing the latest installment in the series, Just Dance 2020. As part of the campaign, the company (specifically its UK branch) has teamed up with Alzheimer’s Research UK to create a short video about a family that bonded over Just Dance. The video itself focuses on Lynne Wadsworth and her mother, Anne, who is in the late stages of dementia and cannot communicate properly as a result....

There are no projects on Warner Bros.’ slate of DC superhero movies that have had roads as winding as weird as The Flash movie and Justice League Dark. Both have had seemingly countless directors and writers attached over the last few years (with The Flash even cycling through several release dates), and neither have so much as frame of footage to show for it. And while The Flash has now settled down with Andy Muschietti and Christina Hodson on writing and directing duties, Justice League Dark (which once had none other than Guillermo del Toro set to direct) has remained adrift....

Kingdom Hearts III was released to widespread critical acclaim, but one issue that both critics and fans alike had with the game was that it was way too easy. The hardest difficulty mode in the game (Proud Mode) was still considered to be too easy for longtime fans of the Kingdom Hearts series, which led to fans requesting a new difficulty mode. Square Enix promised that the Critical Mode from the earlier games would be returning to Kingdom Hearts III via an update, which is due to be released today....

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind will divulge the untold story of Sora’s journey to recovery Kairi’s heart. It will also explain what exactly happened to him at the end of the game, as he unceremoniously disappeared. However, Sora’s tale won’t be the only one that Re: Mind explores. All of the major characters primarily affected by his disappearance will also have plots of their own to experience. The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account teased these plots with new screenshots....

Kirby’s Dream Buffet launches next week, on Wednesday 17th August, priced at £13.49. As a reminder, this is the all-new downloadable Kirby game set for the Nintendo Switch eShop, which got announced just a month ago. A spin-off from the pink puffball’s regular platforming antics, Dream Buffet sees up to four players roll around levels as different-coloured Kirby characters, gobbling up types of food and sweet treats. Whoever eats the most, wins!...

Konami has confirmed that it has no plans to complete development on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s ‘missing’ Mission 51. The extra mission was cancelled during the game’s original development, the official Metal Gear Twitter says, and is “definitely not the ending”, with the game always having been “planned to end at [mission] 50”. Early footage of the additional mission, however, was included on the game’s Collector’s Edition disc, and was described by Kotaku as featuring one of Metal Gear Solid 5’s “most important story scenes”....
